When Cory joined APA, he brought over ten years of architectural and structural design analysis experience with a proven track record in value engineering along with him. Cory has spent most of his career working in the prefabricated panel industry as a design manager and project estimator for various facilities located across Canada and has a thorough understanding of engineered wood products and systems. In his work for APA, Cory consults with builders, designers, code officials and other building professionals on best practices for specification, selection and application of engineered wood products. His passion for efficiency and performance combined with over a decade of knowledge and experience has allowed him to add value to countless projects throughout his career and his services are part of the many complimentary resources available at APA.

Noah Humberston, PE
Noah is an Engineered Wood Specialist based in the Philadelphia area. He works to provide construction and design direction for the use of APA member company engineered wood products. When Noah joined APA, he brought four years of structural design experience at a national structural engineering firm with him. He has worked with both national and regional builders in the design of both single family and multifamily structures using engineered wood products. Noah is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Pennsylvania.

Jacquelyn Miller, PE
Jacquelyn Miller brings a robust technical foundation and a passion for sustainability to her role. Based in the Chicago suburbs, she has a deep connection to her region, having lived in half of the states within her territory. Jacquelyn earned a B.S. in civil engineering and a minor in Spanish from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing her MBA at Utah State University. Jacquelyn is a licensed professional engineer in Ohio. She began her career as a structural design engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio, working on diverse residential and commercial projects and contributing to sustainability initiatives. Her favorite aspect of the job has always been mentoring colleagues and promoting teamwork. Outside of work, Jacquelyn enjoys hiking, kayaking, biking and baking — especially cupcakes.

Bryce Luckett
Bryce Luckett is based in Denver, Colorado. He comes to APA from Boise Cascade, where he worked closely with builders, dealers, and design professionals on structural wood products, jobsite applications, and performance-driven construction practices. With an expertise in EWP framing systems and addressing challenges related to code compliance and performance requirements, he also supported product education for residential and light commercial projects. His background includes a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver. In his role as EWS-EF, Bryce will provide specialized support on energy and building science initiatives, including high-performance construction practices and energy code-related topics.

Mary Uher
Vice President of Market Access and Development
Prior to returning to APA, Mary served as the director of FORTIFIED Field Services at the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety. There, she guided communities in her region on building resilient structures. Before that, Mary worked at APA, serving as the regional manager of the Field Services Division (now Market Access and Development). She holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska and resides in Baltimore.

Warren Hamrick
Director of Market Access and Development
Serving the southeastern United States, Warren consults with designers, code officials and other building professionals on best practices for specification, selection and application of engineered wood products. Warren graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering. Prior to joining APA, Warren worked as a project manager for a structural engineering firm which specialized in commercial construction.

Matthew Brown, CGP
Director of Energy Policy and Code
Matt serves as a key advisor and advocate for APA and its members on energy, code and sustainability policy issues. He spearheads the development and implementation of strategic energy and sustainability initiatives, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the industry. As director of energy policy and code, he helps educate the public and policymakers on how to leverage engineered wood's natural R-value and low embodied carbon properties. Matt’s career in the construction industry began over 15 years ago. He has worked for a large regional production builder, an energy rating and engineering firm and joined APA in 2014. In his free time, Matt enjoys cooking barbecue for anyone willing to eat it.
